Zero Gravity
Self Portrait
Zero Gravity explores the intersection of physical reality and digital abstraction, capturing the temporal disorientation of a society evolving toward a virtual future. Drawing from the Hellenistic tradition and contemporary 3D digital fashion, the series synthesizes classical anatomical realism with modern artifice. By utilizing dramatic spotlighting, high-contrast palettes, and precarious, unbalanced compositions, the work amplifies a sense of existential ambivalence.
The project specifically mirrors the Hellenistic pursuit of technical perfection—namely the mastery of drape, transparency, and the illusion of movement—while rejecting classical harmony in favor of raw emotion and kinetic energy. In this vacuum, the removal of gravitational constraints serves as a metaphor for the liberation from architectural boundaries, pushing the boundaries of the human form within a digital medium.
